Hello & welcome to my blog.
My friends call me Elle or J and sometimes EJ :) This is a place where I want to collect and introduce to people pieces of art and literature that pleases me and draw my attention. I want to have everything in one place so I can look back for some inspiration…and it is mostly what I like so don’t expect a specific form of art as I will post what I feel at the moment… :)
I am very fond of art that makes the imagination work. Art that includes fantasy in it and makes you want to stop and take a better look at it. I love photography especially black and white. There will be a lot of posts like that.
Recently I have developed a fascination for old fairy tales..I think they are the back bone of world literature…
I am a big fan of Japanese culture, Anime, Manga, Food, Music, and Yaoi
My favorite music band is Xjapan a Visual Kei Jrock band. You can find them here
I have read all of Anne Rice books and I find her work marvelous. If I had to pick a favorite from her it would be The Vampire Armand. I think she poured a lot of love in his character and beauty of course.
Sometimes I write, sometimes I draw, simple pieces, mostly to empty my mind. I will squeeze those in here too…
